According to the U.S. Census Bureau, about 88 percent of North Carolina residents have returned their census forms. This means roughly 12 percent of North Carolinians have not had their forms received by the U.S. Census Bureau. Across the nation and in North Carolina, the Census Bureau is working to contact residents to ensure that everyone will be counted in the 2010 Census.
