Leaders follow-up on future area development
A group of Greensboro residents, in conjunction with Action Greensboro, have teamed up with area businesses and other civic organizations to get on the bus heading toward a brighter economic future for the city they call home.
A meeting was held last Thursday in downtown Greensboro to get feedback from trip participants who traveled to Charlotte on July 22 and for participants to discuss amongst themselves the major themes of the trip.

Elon Law School appoints Johnson as interim dean
In a journey that has taken him from his rural Georgia roots to the concrete jungle of Capitol Hill, George Johnson has brought his passion for the law and for education to the halls of Elon Law School and the city of Greensboro.
He sat down with the Peacemaker recently to discuss his new position as Interim Dean with the university, and to share some of the challenges he has faced as he helps steer Elon Law School into a new era of leadership.
