GTA bus changes
Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA) fares increased as of July 1. The adult base fare for GTA transit services are up dime to $1.30 per trip, while student rates are increased by a nickel to .85 cents and senior and disability fares will change to .65 cents per trip. Transfers between routes will remain free of charge. “We are glad that the GTA Board and the City Council continues to recognize the importance of transit services in our community,” said Kevin Elwood, Strategic Information Specialist with GTA. According to Elwood, GTA provided nearly over 4 million passenger trips just last year.
